Now for our Yummy recipe.......you are going to LOVE THIS!!!

This recipe was given to me by a good friend Faith Bannister. I worked with her husband Terry in his family owned restaurant "Ken's Bar B Que" in Lake City Florida many, many years ago. Faith is a real sweetheart and one of the people I miss most from when I lived there.
This recipe is good any time but now around the holidays....it is even BETTER!!

Blueberry Crunch

1 package of frozen blueberries = 3 cups

1 cup sugar

1 box yellow cake mix

1 stick butter

1 cup chopped pecans

1 can crushed pineapple (#2)

In a 9x13 greased pan, spread undrained pineapple in pan, layer the blueberries and 3/4 cups sugar.. Sprinkle dry cake mix over this. Drizzle melted butter over all. Top with pecans and remaining 1/4 sugar. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes. After about 25 minutes cut with spoon down through mixture in several places to let juice come up through.
Wonderful all by it's self but even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!!!
Enjoy!!!!

Beth's Holiday Punch

Our recipe today is from a close family friend named Beth Carol Price. She is an amazing young woman, very beautiful, talented and can sing like a bird! I believe the first time I had this punch was at her wedding. Then I had it again at her house just a week ago at a baby shower....I knew I wanted it on the blog.

It is a great for large parties and entertaining  is one of my favorite things to do, especially around the holidays.  My family is getting bigger everyday and this punch is sooo good, goes a long way and is cost effective.

Recipe

1 can of jellied cranberry sauce

1 jug of cranberry cocktail (about) 48 oz?

2 cups of pineapple juice

1-2 cups of sugar ( I would do 2)

Blend it all up well and then put into two gallon sized zip lock bags and freeze

When ready to use put in a punch bowl and fill with sprite.

Thanks Beth, I love this punch and know others will too.

**I am so thankful for good friends who support me, uplift me and inspire me.**
